Silicon Milkroundabout

Silicon Milkroundabout runs regular events designed to match talented people with the thousands of jobs on offer at UK tech startups. We came from the startup community – our first event, in May 2011, was organised through Pete and Ian’s work at live-music startup Songkick.com, and thrown together in just a few weeks after a conversation in a pub. Since then, we have run ever-larger events twice a year to promote a new category of job – ‘working for a startup’ – to sit alongside the likes of ‘working for a bank’, ‘working for a creative agency ’or ‘working for a tech giant’ in the minds of the UK’s most talented people. Our events are where the magic happens, where our startups and jobseekers meet. Come along to one, and you’ll find a room with over 130 startups in it, hiring for hundreds of positions. We bring everyone together, and watch the connections being made!
