We have partnered with University College London (voted 5th best University in the world this year, and one of the UK's biggest) to create a service for shared house management. Using their 35k student and staff base, we identified a number of common complaints that frequently came between housemates, causing headaches and friction - and where there is friction, there is opportunity. Our app focuses on these pain points, to create a better solution for housemates as we fully appreciate that where there is pain, there is a solution waiting to happen. - A shared household to-do list allows management of daily chores, and essentially to see who has done their fair share - Shared bill management, with direct links to common utilities means not only can house sharers keep a closer eye on their joint finances, but gives us a direct route to numerous monetization options. Further, UCL chose Chored to use as a tool to attract their students to "App Lab", UCL's proprietary app platform.
