Plerith is developing an exciting new wind energy system which will open up the market for small wind turbines in the built environment. I developed the concept over the last two years, based on my own experience managing renewable energy and clean tech programmes for major retailers and the Greater London Authority. The concept has been reviewed by the world's leading wind energy consultancy and they have given it a very positive response. So much so that we are confident that this product will open up a multi-billlion dollar global market that so far has not been economically viable for wind deployment. In the UK alone we believe there is a £5bn potential market, with up to £200bn worldwide. We are now looking to raise $100,000 equity funding to match a £100,000 grant from the UK's Technology Strategy Board which is currently being applied for, to develop the prototype, submit the first patent application and conduct wind tunnel tests.
