MyOnlineSchool is a group of virtual schools, offering online courses to passionate amateurs & professionals. 2 award winning schools live already: my-garden-school.com (partner Royal Horticultural Society) and my-photo-school.com (partner Mumsnet & The Telegraph) Small classes of 20 students take courses online given by world experts. Students receive personal feedback & critiqued assignments from tutors, course e-books, & interact with peers in supported classroom communities. Tutors: Authorities with worldwide reputations in their subjects, famous authors & lecturers. Customers: AB adults, 40+, passionate re hobby subjects Customer Needs addressed: They value the convenience of online learning, but need a more in-depth, interactive experience than other forms of online learning like MOOCs. (MOOCs have a course completion rate of 10-20% MyOnlineSchool has completion rates of 80-90%). We don't intend to stop until we own this hobbiest space at the high end in niche verticals.
