I come from a marketing/brand management background and I feel "digital" failed in certain ways. It particularly did not do well for businesses. It also did not actually bring people closer. I think the underlying problem that we wanted to solve was, "Why is it not possible to have one service where I can interact with all my friends (non-friends) as well as businesses, both online and offline." So the service allows users to do the following via their phone browser (no download required): 1. Chat with friends and track their location (by permission). 2. Find people that are close to them - and chat with them. 3. Find places/businesses that are close by, read reviews and write reviews/ratings if they visit the location. 4. Users can gather points by visiting locations (and spend them as loyalty points). "The service allows users to engage with people and places close to them".
