Lingomixer aims to change the way foreign languages are learnt by seamlessly integrating language learning into our daily online activities. By selectively translating individual words on any visited website on the Internet we are empowering users to boost their contextual vocabulary and to improve their language skills. With Lingomixer, users can add and learn new words from any web page they visit, practice what is right for them when it is convenient, and read the most relevant content for their learning. By enabling a user to learn a language while consuming online content that falls within the person’s field of interest or profession, a learner can more easily amplify his or her vocabulary as it is being applied. We have successfully launched our private beta in which Lingomixer is available as a free Google Chrome Extension, supporting English and German. Our vision is to become the ultimate personalised assistant for foreign language learning.
