At LendInvest, we are re-inventing the mortgage. Our aim is to change the whole concept of a mortgage - from how you get one, to how mortgages are funded. LendInvest’s background is unique in that, unlike many other marketplace lenders, it was spun out of an existing lending business. We have been actively lending in the UK short-term mortgage market since 2008. In May 2013, the team behind Montello founded LendInvest which became the first online marketplace for mortgages in the world. LendInvest are creating a process that is easy to understand for borrowers, and a platform that gives everyday investors the ability to invest in a mortgage. Up until now, investing in a mortgage has been the exclusive domain or large institutions and hedge funds - LendInvest changes this.
