hackajob is an online marketplace that uses a matching algorithm to show candidate’s relevant jobs and then screens their skills through job-specific coding challenges and tests. Every job on the platform has a completely unique challenge, creating a more engaging process for candidates whilst providing employers with more information earlier in the recruitment process. We collect several data points about the candidate as well as well they completed the challenge and then place each applicant on a job-specific leaderboard. This creates a competitive element from the user side, whilst allows the employer to log in and instantly see who the best candidates are. We are working with some big names in tech including SkyScanner, Qubit and Huddle and have over 6,000 users.
