Flat Club is the trusted marketplace for stays from a few weeks to a few months. In our first three years we grew from zero to over half a million pounds in booking value (revenues). That exponential growth continues today: In the past six months alone, we have increased our user base by 30% and turnover by 260%. Flat Club achieves this growth by serving a unique niche of: university students on exchange; interns re-locating for the summer; and consultants on long-term assignments away from their home offices. We find these customers through more than 50 existing partnerships with universities and corporations, such as London Business School, Columbia, NYU, Hult, Google, and Skype. Flat Club earns revenue in two ways: Subscription fees and Marketplace fees. Companies that partner with Flat Club to supply accommodation to their employees pay £100 per employee to join the site. Additionally, Flat Club takes 6-15% of the value of any given booking made on our platform.
