Environmental Investment Organisation

Each year the EIO creates a set of global, publicly accessible, Carbon Rankings designed to reward lower emissions & greater transparency. Effectively the carbon equivalent of the Forbes’ list. The Rankings are then used to create a series of stock market indexes, like the FTSE100 or S&P500. Whilst these indexes offer the same risk/reward profile as mainstream indexes, they are designed apply pressure to companies in line with emissions. These are licensed to the investment community for a fee.
