Divido is the payment option that lets merchants offer their customers to spread the cost of products and services in interest free instalments to boost basket size, conversion rates, cash flow and reduce fraud risk. This is how it works; 1. Merchants use Divido’s simple API to quickly add this new payment option alongside their existing alternatives in their regular sales/checkout process (online, high street, call center, etc). 2. At the point of purchase the customer completes a short online finance application that generates an instant decision (based on suitability and affordability). 3. If the application is successful Divido pays the merchant in full the same day and starts to collect the monthly installments from the customer. Divido bears all the risk in case of a customer defaulting. Divido is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FCA).
